Leads the office of Human Resources in developing and implementing strategic policies and practices to advance the core educational and operational objectives of the College.

Oversees the strategic direction and administration of the employee benefit program which includes health, life, disability, retirement, wellness and ancillary benefits. Contact Karen for Tuition Reimbursement and Tuition Grant information.

Provides consultation on all matters related to leaves of absence (eg: STD, SCP, LTD, FMLA, Parental), employee ADA accommodations and wellness. Employee liaison between the workers compensation carrier and medical providers.

Responds to benefits inquiries from employees and retirees re: plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.  Conducts new-hire benefits orientation. Manages staff and faculty benefits orientation, COBRA, and open enrollment.

Provides consultation on all matters related to staff compensation including job analysis, evaluating market data, and making appropriate compensation related recommendations.  Responsible for staff position descriptions and position management.

Responsible for Banner’s Human Resources and Benefit modules, and the integration of Banner with other HR systems including applicant tracking (PageUp), third party benefits administration systems and HRIS reporting through Argos. Drives process improvement and HR project management.

Provides support for HRIS data, audits, reporting, and security;  provides general support in Human Resources  documentation and I-9 verifications.
