Title IX and College-defined Sexual Misconduct

The Title IX  and College-defined Sexual Misconduct Policy's  Procedures for Resolution of Complaints against staff and instructional staff, including faculty, are separate College processes and will be followed to resolve all complaints related to sexual misconduct of all forms, including:

  • Sexual Harassment
  • Sexual Assault
  • Non-consensual Sexual Touching
  • Dating Violence
  • Domestic Violence
  • Stalking
  • Sexual Exploitation
  • Indecent Exposure
  • Other misconduct that is sex or gender based or in the context of an intimate partner relationship, including bullying and intimidation, physical assault, and discrimination.

This policy and its procedures are  consistent with relevant governmental statutes and regulations, including those pursuant to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973.  Assessment of reports made pursuant to this policy are designed to carry out the goals of Title VII (as it applies to discrimination based on sex), Title IX, the relevant portions of the Clery and the Violence Against Women Act Amendments and College policy.
