Sid Srivatsan '20

I currently work as a private credit investment professional at a hedge fund in New York City focused on consumer finance. My team works with banks and specialty finance companies to provide them financing solutions for their consumer lending businesses (e.g., auto lending, credit cards, etc.) and my day-to-day primarily involves evaluating new investments and monitoring existing ones. While I don't do the advanced math I used to at Swarthmore, my experiences studying economics and math at Swarthmore were really helpful in my first job out of college as a trader at a hedge fund in Boston and continue to be helpful in my current role. Taking Real Analysis II at Swarthmore definitely makes work feel like a breeze :)
