Math/Stat department sponsored club, organized with the intention of providing and encouraging further black and brown representation in the Math/Stat Department.
Inspired by Prof. Mavinga, it became evident to Us that black and brown students generally do not continue taking Math/Stat courses after their first math course at Swat. We want to reverse this trend, by combatting the common issues Black and Brown students find themselves running into in these introductory math courses.
