Robinson Hollister Summer Opportunity in Public Policy and Economics
The Robinson G. Hollister Summer Opportunity in Public Policy and Economics was established in 2021 in memory of distinguished Swarthmore professor Robinson Hollister (1971 to 2015) by his family, colleagues, former students, and friends. Professor Hollister had a successful career in public policy as a pioneer in the use of random assignment studies, applying this method to evaluate the effects of anti-poverty, job training, education, and child care programs. The fund supports research, internships, and other summer opportunities in public policy or economics.
