Lectures

Each academic year our Department hosts several distinguished economists to deliver evening lectures to our students and the broader community. The talks are designed to be engaging and accessible for students in our introductory courses and beyond.  Use the links on the left to see past speakers and topics featured in our named lecture series, which honor former members of our department.

Each summer our Department hosts a seminar series where our faculty, and faculty from local colleges and universities, present their research. Faculty frequently undertake these research projects with students. See the Jobs and Opportunities section for general information about summer research opportunities.
