Individual Tutoring

Upper level students work together in the Physical Chemistry lab.

Individual tutoring is provided through the Dean’s Office. It is offered at no cost to students who have demonstrated need for help with Chemistry and Biochemistry courses over and above the resources provided by the department.

Tutors are upper-class students who have been recommended by the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry faculty to serve in this capacity.

Tutors meet with students for one hour a week for a maximum of 10 weeks. If a student feels that more help is needed, a referral from the course professor is required. Students may apply for a tutor by filling out the Tutee Application, found either on-line or in Parrish East 108.
