Alumni Connections

Swarthmore alumni attend an alumni event in New York City.

With over 23,000 current alumni, Swarthmore’s alumni community spans the globe and offers countless opportunities to connect, network, and find professional and academic support. Many alumni are active on SwatLink, a networking, mentoring, and community-building tool for Swarthmore alumni, students, faculty and staff, parents of students, and select friends of the College. With SwatLink, users can:

  • Network with other Swarthmore community members
  • Offer mentoring or find a mentor
  • Connect socially based on interests, affinities, region, and more

Alumni also engage with students through the Center for Innovation and Leadership (CIL), which hosts the annual SwatTank program. SwatTank is an idea competition for aspiring student entrepreneurs, guiding students through the process of conceptualization to pitch. Students start with a rough idea or product and develop it with workshops, mentorship, and collaboration. The students with the most well-developed ideas are invited to pitch their product to a panel of judges in the SwatTank finals.
