Career Counseling and Mentorship

Panelists answer questions during a Career Services event.

Swarthmore Career Services facilitates SwatWorks, the College’s micro-intership program. SwatWorks offers students paid opportunities to gain professional experience and build a professional network while exploring a variety of career paths. Students can complete paid 10, 20, or 40-hour projects with Swarthmore alumni over winter and summer breaks. Additionally, Career Services offers a variety of funding opportunities for summer internships and professional experiences. In fact, each summer, approximately 30% of current Swarthmore students receive funding from the College to participate in these otherwise unpaid experiences – whether it’s interning at local start-up companies, service organizations, non-profits, or other industries.
