Student Opportunities

Students have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn deeply from working within the vibrant Chester community.  Through partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community leaders, students can engage in meaningful work that directly supports Chester’s needs and priorities.

With guidance from the Chester-Swarthmore Fellows Council and collaboration with community partners, the Lang Center provides opportunities grounded in ethical engagement. These experiences foster a strong sense of civic responsibility, offer invaluable insights from local leaders, and create pathways to build lasting, impactful relationships within the community.
