On April 19th, we welcomed the newly accepted Class of 2020 majors and minors at a reception before the senior research thesis talks.

Senior majors summarized their research findings and accomplishments which gave the new majors and minors of the Class of 2020 a good sense of what it takes to conduct a successful independent research thesis at Swarthmore.

Most importantly, they got to meet all the chemistry faculty and fellow majors and minors, learn more about the department and the opportunities and training we provide, and enjoy some cake.
