On April 7th , we welcomed the newly accepted Class of 2018 majors and minors at a reception before the senior research thesis talks with cake, fruit and cider.

Senior majors summarized their research findings and accomplishments which gave the Class of 2018 new majors and minors a good sense of what it takes to conduct a successful independent research thesis at Swarthmore.

Most importantly, they got to meet all the chemistry faculty and fellow majors and minors and learn more about the department and the opportunities and training we provide.
