Davia Temin ’74

DaviaTemin.jpgDavia Temin ’74, founder and CEO of the reputation and crisis management consultancy Temin and Co., was honored in March by The National Council for Research on Women as one of its “30 Outstanding Women.” All honorees were nominated by peers for their efforts in promoting and advancing women’s leadership and changing the way in which women and girls are viewed. Among her volunteer activities, Temin is the first vice chair of the board of Girl Scouts of the USA. She also chairs its board fund development committee, for which she created and leads the $1 billion “count everything” campaign in honor of the Girl Scouts’ 100th anniversary. Temin and Co., which Temin has led for 15 years, advises global companies on reputation and crisis management, marketing and media strategy—including social media—and marketing through thought leadership. She also coaches 21 CEOs around the world, is a frequent and popular public speaker, writes a column for Forbes called Reputation Matters, (http://blogs.forbes.com/daviatemi) and for The Huffington Post (www.huffingtonpost.com/davia-temin). She has appeared in several books, including Wall Street Women, and is currently writing a book on crisis management.
