Danielle Moss Lee ’90 became the new CEO of the YWCA of the City of New York in July after a national search. Before her appointment, she spent more than 20 years working to break down racial and gender barriers. “This is a cause to which I have not only dedicated my professional career but one in which I am personally invested,” Moss Lee said. Previously, she was the president and CEO of Harlem Educational Activities Fund (HEAF), which became a leading youth leadership organization under her guidance. She was awarded the Neighborhood Builder Award from Bank of America’s Neighborhood Excellence Initiative in 2008.
