Emily Marks ’03, an associate with the Philadelphia law firm Kolsby, Gordon, Robin, Shore & Bezar, was rated
a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer “Rising Star,” a distinction she has earned annually since 2010. The Thomson Reuters rating service features no more than 2.5 percent of the state’s attorneys either below age 40 or in practice for 10 years or fewer and encompasses more than 50 practice areas.
Marks concentrates on representing catastrophically injured persons in complex personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. She earned a J.D. from Temple University in 2006, where she was a member of the Science, Technology and Environmental Law Journal and Women’s Law Caucus. She is active in the Philadelphia Bar Association Women in the Profession Committee, having served as co-chair, and is also a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.
