Benjamin Schall ’97
Benjamin Schall ’97 was named the chief operating officer of Rouse Properties, Inc., a real-estate firm
headquartered in New York City with a reputation for innovation, and has served in that capacity since March. The company is one of the largest publicly traded regional mall owners in the country, spanning 31 malls and approximately 22 million square feet of space across the United States.
Previously, he worked in the industry as a senior vice president with Vornado Reality Trust, overseeing assets exceeding $3 billion. Rouse properties cites Schall’s “proven track record” and “creativity and passion” for the company’s decision. He graduated with a master’s of business administration from Harvard Business School in 2003.
