Edgar Lee '98
Edgar Lee is a private investor with over 20 years of finance and alternative investing experience, serving as an investment professional at Oaktree Capital Management from 2007 to 2020.
At Oaktree, Lee founded and was the portfolio manager of the $6 billion Strategic Credit strategy and served as the CEO and CIO of three business development companies, including Oaktree Specialty Lending and Oaktree Strategic Income Corporations.
Prior to joining Oaktree, Lee worked at UBS Investment Bank in Los Angeles and at Lehman Brothers Inc. He also worked at the Urban Institute where he co-authored Helping America’s Homeless (2001). He received a B.A. in economics from Swarthmore College and a Masters of Public Policy from Harvard University.
