Write-Ins
At Swarthmore, Write-Ins help foster a campus writing community by creating a time and space for students to write together. At their most basic level, Write-Ins are events planned and hosted by the Writing Associates Program for students to sit together and work through the writing process, with at least one Writing Associate in the room to provide support and snacks to those who stop by. Most Write-Ins are held at night in Trotter Hall, though WAs have also taken over classrooms and coffee bars to use as writing spaces. For more details on how Write-Ins are planned and run, please see our Hosting a Write-In FAQ page.
