Organizing Structure

The strategic planning process was overseen by a steering committee and three working groups, which studied models of best practices from across higher education and beyond. In carrying out their work, they consulted with members of various constituent groups and engaged with the broader community as they assessed our current position and formulated recommendations to guide future institutional decision-making. In addition, three areas — diversity, equity, and inclusion; sustainability; and community cohesion  — were integrated into the strategic planning organization and represented in the working groups and the steering committee.
