Submit Your Proposal

Most proposals are submitted by our office, with Swarthmore College as the applicant and the faculty member as Principal Investigator (PI). This requires approval from Sponsored Programs, the Controller's Office, the Finance Office, the Provost’s Office, and others, depending on the nature of the research. You will need to complete the Cayuse Sponsored Projects (SP) Form to begin this process. We encourage you to take this step as early as possible; your proposal and budget do not need to be finalized to do so.  

Some proposals, such as individual fellowship applications, are submitted by the faculty member. Sponsored Programs offers support for these proposals as well. Please reach out to your pre-award staff member if you would like assistance with developing and submitting your proposal.
