Allergy Injection Information
Swarthmore College Student Health and Wellness Service provides administration of allergy injections during designated "Allergy Clinic" hours. There is not an allergist on site; therefore we require detailed allergy treatment instructions from your allergist. Your injections will be administered under the supervision of qualified medical personnel following guidelines established by ACAAI, the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
In order to receive your allergy injections at Student Health, you are required to present this documentation to your allergist. Once complete, provide this documentation to Student Health & Wellness Center prior to the start of the academic year.
Students must remain at the health center for the prescribed amount of time (30 minutes) post-injection. We do not initiate new serums. Allergy serums will be kept refrigerated at Student Health Services. Students are required to pick up their serum from Student Health and Wellness Service at the end of each semester before the health center closes.
