Do you love Design AND Philadelphia? Each October, Philadelphia hosts an annual event called DesignPhiladelphia where for 10 days throughout the city local artists, designers, and innovators showcase their talent in many types of events. In October 2019, the Center for Architecture and Design celebrated 15 years of design and raising the creative profile of the city.  DesignPhiladelphia has everything from workshops to galleries that all students are recommended attend! 

B.PHL Innovation Fest
Philly’s no underdog when it comes to innovation. We’re on a mission to make B. PHL the most innovative Innovation Festival around. It’s all about accessibility. You’ll be face-to-face with the city’s leading thinkers at venues both large and small…there’s a stage for everyone. Across the city and throughout our neighborhoods, you’ll have unparalleled access to the visionary leaders shaping the future of Philadelphia – the real movers and shakers. B. PHL features three jam-packed days of workshops and exhibits focused on arts and culture, science, business, social impact, health care, and more. This event takes place in October. 

Campus Philly
Campus Philly’s mission is to fuel economic growth by encouraging college students to study, explore, live and work in the Greater Philadelphia region. In other words: we help college students fall in love with Philadelphia and launch their careers here after they graduate. Swarthmore is a partner college and students have exclusive access to Campus Philly's programs at no cost. Campus Philly works in collaboration with career services, student life, and admissions offices to connect students with regional employers, the best Philadelphia experiences, and other students and young professionals.

Venture Cafe
Venture Cafe Philadelphia connects innovators and entrepreneurs with high-impact programming and events. They create intentional spaces for individuals and organizations to gather, connect, and build relationships. Meet with the teams from Venture Cafe organizations across the globe while snacking on a local treat! Have questions about a cities innovation ecosystem, expansion opportunities, culture, etc? Stop by and have a chat. Venture Cafe meets every Thursday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at 3675 Market Street, Philadelphia.
