Meena Desai ’81 was appointed secretary of the Accreditation Association for the Ambulatory Health Care
Board of Directors where she represents the American Society of Anesthesiologists. She is president and CEO of Nova Anesthesia Professional, overseeing all aspects of anesthesia operations and surgical integration at 15 surgical facilities, hospitals, and office sites. She also serves on the executive board of directors for the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia as vice president and is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists’ ambulatory surgery committee. Desai is a national lecturer on anesthesia and surgical topics and a consultant who encourages superior patient outcomes and best practices.
