Janet Barrett Fierman ’67
Janet Barrett Fierman ’67 has been re-elected as an officer, director, and member of the executive committee at the Boston Club, where she will serve a third two-year term. The Boston Club brings together approximately 600 cross-industry executive women leaders in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire area to provide professional support and networking for members and to promote women in leadership in the region. Fierman is a shareholder at the law firm Sheehan Phinney Bass and Green, and her practice focuses on privately owned businesses in a wide range of industries. Previously, she was a founding partner at Cohen & Fierman LLP, and was an international trade economist with the U.S. Department of Commerce. Fierman is chairman of the town of Brookline’s building commission and co-chair of the Law Clerks Society of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. She is a former law clerk for Chief Justice Edward Hennessey of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and was named a New England Super Lawyer in 2011, 2012, and 2013.
