Yes, your Digital OneCard and your physical OneCard are both considered official forms of College identification. If you have a physical OneCard that lists your legal name on the back, you will also be able to use your card as legal identification in Swarthmore Borough. This will enable you to vote using your OneCard, if you are registered in Swarthmore, and help ensure your safety in case of a medical emergency. This is true regardless of whether it is activated for use on campus.
- Can I still use my physical OneCard?
If you are a student who has chosen to have a digital OneCard, your physical OneCard will be deactivated. This means that only your digital OneCard will be able to access campus resources. Your physical OneCard can continue to serve as your ID.
If you do not opt into the digital OneCard program, you may continue to use your physical OneCard to access all campus resources, just as you always have. Ultimately, you may only have a single active version of your OneCard at a time, in whatever format you choose.
