Welcome to Math & Stat Academic Support!

The Fall 2024 schedule of Math/Stat clinics is posted.  The general Math clinic and Stat clinic for the fall semester will begin on Tuesday September 3.  Course-specific clinics and pirate sessions will begin Thursday September 5.  One-on-one clinics will begin Sunday September 8.

There are four main types of clinics:

  • General Math/stat clinics are open to all students enrolled in a math or stat class.  These are drop-in sessions, no appointment necessary.
  • Course-specific clinics are available for students enrolled in a particular course or courses (Math 027/028, Math 033/034, Math 039).  These are drop-in sessions, no appointment necessary.
  • Pirate sessions are also for students enrolled in a particular course (Math 015 or Math 025), and the pirates also attend class to support students in-class.  These are drop-in sessions, no appointment necessary.
  • One-on-one clinics are 25 minute appointments to meet independently with a clinician.  These can be held in person or on zoom.  Book an appointment at least 3 hours in advance.

Send us feedback!

Swarthmore students may complete this form at any point during the year to give us feedback about the Math & Stat clinics.
