At Waymo I use math and statistics to better understand and evaluate the behavior of self driving cars, both the real world and in simulation. I became interested in pursuing a career in data science while completing my PhD in statistics at Carnegie Mellon University. While at Carnegie Mellon I had the good fortune to share an office with Professor Luby, for 5 years!
