What to Donate
Spring Move-Out Items :
The items listed below are the only items we are able to collect through the move-out process.
- Hangers
- School Supplies (binders, unused notebooks, paper, index cards, staplers and whole punches, scissors, pens and markers, etc.)
- Kitchen items (dishware, mugs, cooking/eating utensils, kettles and water filters, etc.)
- Small electronics (excluding large appliances and monitors)
- Lamps (must have light bulb)
- Fans
- Mirrors
- Waste Bins
- Hampers
- Shower caddies
- Decorations
- Small furniture
- Small rugs
- clothing and shoes (will be donated to GreenDrop)
Items that are considered waste and should not be donated are
- Perishable food
- Partially used shampoo, conditioner, lotions, etc.
- Mattress pads and mattress toppers
- Sheets, comforters, or used bedding
- Pillows
- Heavily used or damaged and broken items
Items that should be donated to FLI Pantry
- Non-perishable food
- Unused personal hygiene items

When deciding whether an item can be donated, be practical and respectful!
Do not donate items that are unhygienic or contain any personal identification.
Please place all items in bins in the correct designated area. For example, clothing and shoes goes in the large, GreenDrop cardboard box.

The below items should be placed in trash dumpsters outside of the residence halls.

Foam Mattresses, mattress pads, any bedding including sheets, blanket, etc.
- Pillows and pillowcases

Large Furniture
- Perishable or open food
- Personal hygiene items
- Items that are heavily damaged or used
