The historian of mathematics Otto Neugebauer founded Math Reviews in 1940 as a way for people from all over the world to share descriptions of math research. Today, Math Reviews is a database with millions of entries, each representing a different published paper. I edit research descriptions in multiple fields of mathematics, including my own specialty of algebraic geometry, commutative algebra, and history of mathematics. My personal research focuses on interactions between theoretical physics, geometry, and number theory.
