Olivia Smith '22

Right after graduating, I obtained an interdisciplinary master's degree in Climate Studies from Columbia University, which included courses in GIS/spatial analysis, climate physics, R programming, and applied statistics for climate analysis, all of which were supported by my foundation in math/stat cultivated at Swarthmore!

I am currently based in Chicago, IL, working as an Community Outreach Coordinator for the Great Lakes Region at the Environmental Protection Network. We work to provide environmental technical assistance to EJ communities across the country.
