Derek Graves '18

I currently work for The Grayson School, a small independent school for gifted students in Radnor (PA), as the Director of STEM Programming.

Before graduating from Swarthmore, I worked as an adjunct teacher at Grayson, tutoring two highly advanced students in calculus and linear algebra. Upon graduating, I taught mathematics and computer science at Grayson for four years before moving into my current role, where I help shape the school's STEM curriculum. I've also taught summer camps in topics such as combinatorics and the mathematics of board games.
