International Student Center

Department Overview

Welcome!

The International Student Center provides comprehensive services and programs for Swarthmore's international, undocumented, permanent resident, American living abroad and exchange student populations. Our students enrich classrooms, campuses, and communities in ways that endure long after they leave campus, and we focus on every available resource to support our diverse population. We have students from over 50 different countries at Swarthmore College.

From student orientation to alumni panels and weekly dinners, the International Student Center supports a variety of programs, both academic and social, throughout the year. In addition to immigration workshops, the office offers a variety of other workshops to help students succeed both at Swarthmore and beyond. The office is actively working to increase support, training, and club development for undocumented students students through collaboration with Admissions and other partners throughout campus.

The International Student Center is located in the  Hormel-Nguyen Intercultural Center at Sproul Hall. This space includes advisors offices, collaborative student spaces, meeting rooms, and a large kitchen.
