Campus Life

Campus Life

Parents and alumni will welcome the opportunity to experience what life is like on the Swarthmore campus today. This experience includes learning about the ways in which academic and co-curricular activities complement each other.

Note: When registering you will be asked to indicate which events you plan to attend so that we may plan appropriately.

  • DEANS' FORUM: MAKING CHOICES

Do you wonder what your student will do with a degree in music, sociology, or gender and sexuality studies? Can your student safely apply to medical or law school without being a premed political science major? Are you uncertain about your student’s choice of major or career field but don’t know how to say so? Students are faced with many choices during their college years: majors, study abroad, honors, career planning, gap time, and much more. Talk to members of the dean’s office about how best to support your sons and daughters—in a thoughtful and informed way—as they navigate the many choices and opportunities Swarthmore has to offer.

Friday, 3:45 to 5 p.m. in Lang Music Building

  • INTERCULTURAL CENTER OPEN HOUSE

Join other members of the Swarthmore community, student interns, and group leaders to learn about the history of the IC on campus and about the work of the many student groups who call the IC home.

  • WRITING ASSOCIATES OPEN HOUSE
