AP/IP Credit Policy

One Swarthmore College credit may be granted for the AP Environmental Science exam if both of the following two conditions are satisfied:

1. A score of 5 is achieved on the exam      AND

2. The student completes one ENVS-listed or cross-listed course at Swarthmore College with a passing grade.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        The AP credit can be used as an ELECTIVE for the ENVS major or minor, but does NOT satisfy any divisional credit for either NOR   can it be counted toward divisional credit at the College.  Consult with the Environmental Studies Coordinator if you have questions.
