Maggie Gold Seelig ’95
Maggie Gold Seelig ’95 recently received the Esther Leah Ritz Next Generation JCC (Jewish Community Center) Leadership Award, recognizing her service to the JCCs of Greater Boston. Recipients of the award attend a training institute intended to prepare young leaders to assume JCC leadership roles. “The honor of being chosen as a community leader carries a great responsibility,” says Roslyn Haikin, chair of JCC Association Next Generation. “When someone accepts a leadership position, they make a commitment to their community and their JCC for now and the future.” Seelig currently chairs the governance and leadership development committee on the governing board of the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston and has served on the boards of several other Jewish organizations and groups. In 2001, she received the Anti-Defamation League’s Krupp Leadership Award. Previously, Seelig worked as an associate for Brown Rudnick, a Boston law firm.
