Cindi Leive '88 - Collection
Former Editor-in-Chief at Glamour magazine Cindi Leive ’88 delivered a talk entitled “#MeToo, Marches, and Making Noise” at the 2018 Alumni Collection
A lifelong advocate for women’s issues, Leive is the founder of The Girl Project, Glamour’s nonprofit initiative to send girls to secondary school worldwide. She is also a board member for the International Women’s Media Foundation and the Brooklyn Public Library and a member of Swarthmore's Board of Managers. Leive has received numerous awards throughout her career, including The Matrix Award from Women in Communications, the NBCC Award for women’s health advocacy, and multiple National Magazine Awards for print, digital, and video achievement.
