The Office of Alumni & Family Programs offers a variety of ways to continue learning—from paid international trips to free monthly lectures available anywhere with an internet connection. Our goal is to provide alumni, parents, and friends with opportunities to continue engaging with the intellectual life of the College locally, regionally, internationally, and digitally throughout the academic year.

Lifelong Learning at Swarthmore 

These seminar-style classes are offered virtually and taught by senior or emeriti faculty. Courses cover a broad range of disciplines and are open to alumni and friends of the College across the country and around the world.  

SwatTalks 

This Alumni Council initiative aims to engage the broader Swarthmore community in free, virtual seminars featuring professors, students, and alumni excelling in their fields and sharing their knowledge and experience.

Swarthmore Discussion Group

Share a meal, hear from a distinguished speaker, and engage in conversation with local community members and Swarthmore College staff, faculty, and alumni during this monthly gathering.
