March 18, 2016: Ideas in response to the Self-Study are still wanted!
Dear Swarthmore College Community,
I am writing on behalf of the Self-Study Action Committee to say THANK YOU for your participation and support for the Roundtable Sessions on Friday, March 18. We had a terrific turnout and appreciate the positive energy and mutual respect everyone brought to the discussions and deliberations.
There is still time to suggest solutions and ideas to build a stronger, more equitable, and more supportive campus environment for all persons who live, work, and study here.
You can still submit ideas online: https://swarthmore.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_bCniuq2d84fiaod
There is still time to host your own small discussion group around an item of concern and submit your ideas via the online submission box by March 25. (It is supposed to be by March 25 but if you submit by April 1, that is fine.) You can also send your ideas to Betsy Durning at edurnin1.
Physical idea boxes can be found at the following locations: Science Center Coffee Bar, Kohlberg Coffee Bar, Sharples Dining Hall, 101 South Chester Road, Matchbox, Shane Lounge, Mephistos Lounge in Willets, 502 Fieldhouse Lane, Parrish Lower Level
Deliberations by the Committee will commence on April 1 and a final set of recommendations will be submitted to President Smith by April 30.
All Best,
Diane Anderson
