Resident Assistant Union Tentative Agreements

  • October 3, 2024 - The College and OPEIU tentatively agreed to all remaining proposals: Union Rights, Management Rights, Just Cause, Discipline and Discharge, Grievance and Arbitration, Compensation, and Duration of Agreement. In the coming days, the parties will finalize details and after ratification of the CBA by Resident Assistants and execution by the parties, the CBA will take effect.
  • September 6, 2024 - The College and OPEIU tentatively agreed to the following proposals: Work Continuity, Non-Discrimination, Terms of Appointment, Work Schedules, Time Away from Service, Separability, and Generally Applicable Policies and Procedures.
  • August 7, 2024 - The College and OPEIU tentatively agreed to Shop Stewards and Resident Assistant Advisory Committee proposals. 
  • April 22, 2024 - The College and OPEIU tentatively agreed to Health and Safety, Emergencies and Natural Disasters, and Recognition proposals.
  • April 8, 2024 - The College and OPEIU tentatively agreed to a Union Access proposal.
  • March 19, 2024 - Tentative agreement reached via email on the Entire Agreement proposal.
