I write to you from Greensboro, N.C., where members of both the Men’s and Women’s Swimming teams continue to turn in impressive postseason performances in the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, including several All-American honors. Best of luck to our student-athletes who will continue to compete this weekend!  

Last night, after coming within inches of another remarkable comeback, this time against number two-ranked Christopher Newport University, the Swarthmore Men’s Basketball team’s magical season came to an end. But their incredible postseason march to the NCAA Division III Final Four made memories we will cherish for years to come and left us proud of all that they achieved this year. My congratulations to the coaches, players, and staff who contributed to this remarkable season. 

The Men’s Basketball team will return to campus today, Friday, March 17 at approximately 12:45-1 p.m. I hope many of you will be able to gather at the front entrance to Tarble Pavilion to welcome them home and cheer them on one last time this year.
