Garnet Homecoming and Family Weekend Oct 26 - 27

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

This weekend, Oct. 26–27, is Garnet Homecoming and Family Weekend, one of Swarthmore’s most joyful traditions. Alumni, parents, and friends will join us on campus to celebrate and experience what makes the Swarthmore experience so special.

I invite you to participate in the wide variety of programs and activities in store this weekend. A few highlights include:

• The Friday evening panel discussion of Marvel’s Black Panther, coordinated by the Swarthmore Black Alumni Network.

• Cheering on the Garnet at the Fall Pep Rally on Friday night.

• Dr. Claudia Kawas ’74, a geriatric neurologist and researcher, sharing “Lessons from the Oldest Old” at the annual McCabe Lecture on Saturday afternoon.

More than 100 alumni will also be on campus for the Advancement Volunteer Summit. I hope you will join me in welcoming all of our visitors this weekend and take advantage of this opportunity to meet members of the extended Swarthmore community.
