Community Outreach
Each summer members of the Howard Lab participate in an outreach program for middle school students. Lab members serve as mentors for the five-week program that involves hands-on laboratory work and culminates in a science fair. Some highlights include a "Science of Celebration" unit and projects on the "Chemistry of Fun".
