Dear Friends,

Thank you to all who attended last Friday’s Community Gathering! Although I was unable to be there because of a prior commitment, I’ve heard that our second zero-waste Community Gathering was a resounding success.

This annual event is a special time for us because opportunities for the entire campus community to come together are rare. I hope you were able to connect with old friends and perhaps make a few new ones.

Thanks to all those who made the gathering possible—including members of the planning committee, Dining Services staff who prepared and served delicious food, and Facilities and EVS staff who prepared for and later broke down the event.

Congratulations to Kimberly Armstrong (Essie Mae’s), Diana Davis (Math & Stats), Sharon Hu ’21, Dion Lewis (BCC/Dean’s Office), Emma Miller ’21, and Han Nguyen ’22, who each won some new Swarthmore swag!
