Final Exam Schedule

On Finals and Travel Plans

By College policy, final examinations are not rescheduled to accommodate travel plans. If you must make travel arrangements before the exam schedule is published, do not expect to be able to leave until after finals end.

Help for Three Exams in 24 Hours

College policy holds that students with three final examinations within 24 hours are to be allowed to reschedule one of their exams in consultation with the professor (so long as students make such requests in a timely manner). Talk to the professors first, and if you need a note from the Registrar, please just ask.

Examples: If you have an exam at 9:00am, then another at 12:00pm, then another at 7:00pm all on the same day, that is a case of three exams in 24 hours. If you have an exam at 9:00am, then another at 12:00pm, then another at 9:00am the next morning, that is NOT a case of three exams in 24 hours, and you are not covered by the policy.

Spring Semester

Regular Finals and Honors Written Exams run 9:00am-12:00pm, 2:00pm-5:00pm, and 7:00pm-10:00pm.

REGARDING CONFLICTS BETWEEN SPRING FINALS AND WRITTENS

By College policy, a student who is not in the Honors program, but who is taking an Honors written exam as a course final and has an exam conflict, should take the course Final exam and postpone the Honors written exam until the student's next free exam period; conversely, a student in the Honors program who has a conflict with a course final exam, takes the Honors exam and postpones the course exam in consultation with the professor. In no case may a student take an Honors exam before the Honors written examination period for that exam.
