NORMAL OPERATING HOURS FALL/SPRING SEMESTERS:
 
Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
(The health center is closed Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12 p.m. -1 p.m. and Wednesdays 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. for staff development)
 
ALTERATIONS IN NORMAL OPERATING HOURS FOR FALL 2024:
 
12/11 - health center closes at 3 p.m.
12/13 - health center closed 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. for The Trail to Wellness Event
12/16 - 12/20 - health center open 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. daily
12/20 - health center closes at 2 p.m. for winter break
1/21/25 - health center reopens at 9 a.m.
1/22/25 - health center closed 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. 
 
Please call 610-328-8058 during operating hours to schedule an appointment.  No walk-in appointments.
 
The Team Health nurse on call  is available at 610-328-8548 when the health center is closed and you need medical advice.
 
For non-urgent  administrative questions,  email health@swarthmore.edu and a team member will get back to you within 48-72 business hours.

Student Health and Wellness is located in the Worth Health Center, which is nestled in a multi-variety magnolia orchard adjacent to the Benjamin West Parking Lot right of of Rt. 320. The center comprises Student Health Services, Counseling & Psychological Services, and a comprehensive wellness education team.

Swarthmore’s Health and Wellness staff supports the needs of our diverse student body by providing individualized holistic care and campus-wide education.  The nurse practitioner model offers acute and chronic health care services, as well as preventive health services with a focus on issues that impact college students.  Students can also receive services in study abroad and travel immunization, allergy desensitization, reproductive health, vaccination, LGBTQ wellness, nutrition, alcohol and other drug counseling, violence prevention and healthy relationships counseling.

The Student Wellness Program includes campus-wide events and activities that help build the skills necessary for healthy living through the promotion of physical, intellectual, mental, sexual, and spiritual health and wellness.

The multidisciplinary team of Swarthmore College health leaders is committed to creating a compassionate environment.  Our vision is to empower students to be engaged in their continuum of lifelong health and wellbeing.
