The nature and success of the governance of the College depends in great part upon close coordination and communication between the Board of Managers and the president. The Board is charged with the general management of the affairs of the College and discharges that duty directly in management of the endowment and otherwise works closely with the president to set general direction. The Bylaws are available here.
The Board currently consists of 39 members who typically serve between four and 12 years. New members are appointed by the Board. Most of its work is done in committees and the president regularly participates in committee meetings.
