Watch: Chester Children's Chorus Celebrates, Honors Legacy of MLK in Concert
On Jan. 14, the Chester Children's Chorus (CCC) presented a concert in Lang Music Building to celebrate and the honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
"I hope people take away from our MLK celebration that [King's] work is not done and we still have a long way to go," said CCC Executive and Artistic Director John Alston H'15.
The CCC is a nonprofit organization that provides year-round music and math education to the children of Chester, Pennsylvania. During the school year, children and youth ages 7 through 18 develop their vocal talents via rehearsals and concerts as well as their math skills through small group and individualized instruction.
