Landslide

The assignment in Guest Artist Lars Jan ['00]'s Integrated Media in Performance class was to create a multichannel media presentation with at least one live element. For her piece, Kat Clark '12, a studio art major from Racine, Wis., collaborated with Chele Harrington '12 and Anthony Montalbano '12 to create a music performance combined with prerecorded footage of dancer Amelia Kidd '11. "I'd never taken a theater class before," Kat says, "and this course was a great supplement to my major because I now have a much better understanding of how to incorporate video into installations and performances. This project was my favorite part of the class because we were each allowed to do what interested us most. I loved making the connection between Chele's passion for singing and Amelia's passion for dance."
