Patricia L. Reilly

Associate Professor of Italian Renaissance Art History.  Her areas of specialization are sixteenth and seventeenth century Italian art, art theory, and art education and academies. Her work investigates the intimate connection between the practical and theoretical activities of Renaissance artists, and considers these in light of the larger intellectual and cultural environments of which they were a part. Professor Reilly's book in progress  is entitled Raphael and Vasari at the Medici Courts.
