Imoleayo Abel '14

I graduated from Swarthmore in 2014 with an honors double major in Engineering and Computer Science. Immediately after swat, I worked for two years as a Software Developer at Epic Systems in Verona WI, before deciding to return to school. In 2022, I completed my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California San Diego where I investigated the design of provably safe controllers for nonlinear systems with actuation delays. After my PhD, I joined NVIDIA where I currently work as an engineer on the Autonomous Vehicle Controls team. In my spare time, you will find me playing soccer or catching up on the latest Numberphile videos on YouTube.
